How to add a machine for Sale

Before you can create an advert for your machine you must be a registered user of the site.  If you have not already completed that step please see the How to Create an Account: guide

Once you are registered you must be logged in to create your advert

When you are logged in your username will be shown

Now click on “Sell” at the top left of the home page

Depending on if you are registered as a dealer or private seller you will see the options available for the advert you wish to place

Select the option you would like and click “next”

The next step is to select the category you would like your listing to appear under

If you can’t find an appropriate category for your advert please let us know  and we will add it for you via the Contact us page 

The next page asks for additional information about the machine you want to sell, not all fields are mandatory so can be left blank but the more detail you can add the better the chances of it selling are.  This page also gives the option to change the category selected in the last step and also to create your advert based on an existing listing

The next step is to add photos and video of your machine.   The more pictures you add  the great the chances of a sale are.

When complete click “save and continue” to step 3

In step 3 you add your description of your machine.

You also have the option of some premium listing features which will be debited from your credit account.  These options will help your advert become more visible to potential buyers.  Simply check the option you would like to add.

The next screen you will see is conformation of you advert being successfully added to Farm Classifieds

If you have selected any premium options, you will see a different confirmation screen.  You advert will still be live, but the options will not be active until you click the “Buy” button

The next screen confirms this transaction and shows your credit balance

Click confirm to complete the transaction.  You advert is now live and it premium options you selected are active.

If your account has insufficient credit for the option’s you have chosen you will see the following screen

Follow the link to purchase more credits.  Once more credits have been added to your account go to the “my listings” page via the link under your username

The link will take you to the “my Listings” page where you can pay to active any premium options

You can also edit your advert here and share it via Twitter and Facebook.  The advert will have already been posted on The Farming Forum in the machinery classified section
